As part of a collaborative course at UCF I worked on “Domaine Bizarre” which was a concept for a queueless theme park land. For this project I acted as Art Director and established the illustrative style as well as brand guide for the land. Additionally. I developed a wearable device that guests would receive before entering the land to help keep them moving throughout the area.

Like a bouquet of carnivorous flowers, Domaine Bizarre both invites and bites Guests who dare to enter the portal where the ordinary world gives way to eldritch elegance. The face of evil masquerades in sumptuous gowns and powdered wigs, as Guests explore the grounds of a pre-revolution French estate where time and space collide. Within the chateau’s hallowed halls, Lovecraftian horrors like the Dauphin in Yellow lurk, who have something far more sinister in mind than “Let Them Eat Cake”.

Domaine Bizarre blends the mythologies of H.P. Lovecraft and the writers who inspired him, with the decadent Rococo atmosphere of the court of Marie Antionette. The combination of enchanting and unnerving experiences instills wonder, fear, and delight as humor and horror blend together seamlessly into an exploratory, queueless themed land that rewards exploration and sparks curiosity.
